The focus of Matt’s energies is split between the redevelopment of underperforming suburban shopping center assets, and the entitlement and development of greenfield master planned properties. Matt began his real estate career in the Corporate Services division on Henry S. Miller Commercial. His assignments at Henry S Miller Commercial included work with EDS, RBC Dain Rauscher, Time Warner Telecom, Hershey Foods and Abbott Labs. Since leaving Henry S. Miller Commercial, Matt has worked on redeveloping commercial shopping center product primarily in Dallas, Carrollton-Farmers Branch, and Grapevine. He has also worked on land projects in Denton, Cooke, Ellis and Van Zandt counties.
Matt grew up in Dallas and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Analytical Finance from Wake Forest University. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He is a recipient of the Preservation Advocacy Award from the Grapevine Heritage Foundation. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors
