Structure Commercial sells LBJ Oates Summit Shopping Center

Structure Commercial has sold the 118,213 SF shopping center, the Pizza Hut, 2 other outparcels and a 40,000 SF pad, located at the intersection of 635 and Oates Dr. in Mesquite, to an undisclosed investor.   Retail Plaza’s had been trying to sell or lease the center for years, with the empty 47,000 SF grocery store.  Structure was hired and subsequently brought multiple national users for the box, before ultimately selling it to an investor at almost full asking price and closing in 10 days.

Trey Hodge, Vice President of Retail Plaza’s, was excited to finally have sold the center:

“LBJ was a distressed property and contained a vacant grocery box. Eric Deuillet and John Hiller accepted the challenge.  Eric and John worked the listing with dogged determination producing several lease prospects and six buyers. Eventually Eric and John sold the property for almost full asking price, which closed within two weeks during the Pandemic.  Structure Commercial succeeded where 5 or 6 other commercial brokerage firms failed regarding LBJ.”
