Structure Commercial doing it again…..

Structure Commercial was founded in 2006 and has been one of the fastest growing Commercial Real Estate Companies picking up over 7 million square feet of leasing assignments. Building a reputation during a down economy as the leasing company that could fill any center or office building, including the struggling centers that had lost their anchor, they have built this market share with a multitude of trusting owners. In the first 4 years alone, Structure Commercial completed over 470 leases, took 23 retail centers and 5 office buildings from under 50% occupancy to 95% or better and assisted in the purchase or sale of 18 properties. Since then the company has continued to grow at a rate of over 36% per year.

And here we go again.   The global market just got crushed by the fallout from the government mandated stay-at-home orders of the Covid-19 quarantine. While many curled up at home doing puzzles, we got to work.  Helping our owners and tenants get creative to make sure they all would not only survive the the lockdown, but thrive in its aftermath.  Of all of our properties, we have had zero completely shut down.  We came up with many different solutions, for all the different types of businesses.  Some can handle deferment and pay back, others needed a more creative solution that would help them and the landlord the same.  

We put in overtime, assisting them all and actually doing new leases and sales as well.  When not counseling landlords and tenants and coming up with solutions for the existing businesses, we also got creative in who we called on that were still thriving.   In the last 2 months, we still completed a multitude of new leases, including an 18,233 Sf Ace Hardware at 2110 S. Cooper Street in Arlington, a 9,983 Sf Dollar Tree at 2739 15th Street in Plano and the uses that are still active in this market, like a CPAP store, a medical uniform store, etc.   We also sold a 6,000 SF SPECS Wine and Spirits (Fat Dog) at 1604 W. NW Highway in Dallas and put 3 large centers under contract.

Everyone looks good when the economy is rocking, Structure Commercial is again showing that it is just as creative and successful when the extra effort is needed.
